Manalapan NJ is an out-of-town Kehillah 50 miles from New York City in Central New Jersey. Commutable to Manhattan by bus or train, yet a world apart in terms of quality of life. It is a special hub of Jewish life located 20/30 minutes from the Jersey Shore, Highland Park, Deal, and Lakewood, and an hour from Teaneck or Brooklyn.
Our area hosts excellent access to “in-town” amenities and five orthodox shuls that span the Torah spectrum, (B’nai Israel, Jewish Learning Center, Union Hill Synagogue, Torah Links, and Chabad of Western Monmouth County). Our Orthodox community includes Jewish members who are Yeshivish, Modern Orthodox, Ashkenazim, and Sephardim, all joining together in a welcoming, warm, supportive, caring, and non-judgmental kehillah.
Our community has many opportunities to attend shiurim and frequent community events. Manalapan also has an Eruv, a mikvah in neighboring Marlboro, and several major supermarkets with a wide variety of kosher food including the Kosher Experience. You can buy a single-family home with 4-5 bedrooms, a 2-car garage, and a spacious half-acre property from $600-$900K. Townhouse developments are priced between $500-600K; we have ample choices of adult communities (55+) condos, townhouses, and homes.
Our local day schools are Shalom Torah Academy (N-8), and students also attend Yeshiva Shaarei Tzion, Rabbi Pesach Raymon Yeshiva, Jewish Educational Center/ Bruriah, Hillel Yeshiva, Ilan High School, Ma’or Yeshiva, and Lakewood yeshivot. The Jewish Home for Rehabilitation & Nursing provides an OU-supervised Glatt Kosher rehabilitation and nursing facility nearby. Visit our welcoming and diverse community of Manalapan!
