About This Community

Cincinnati's Jewish community is centered in Amberley Village. Near major highways, and less than 20 minutes from any part of the city, our community is ideally located and a wonderful place to live and raise a family. Housing is extremely affordable, with a 2,500-square foot 4-bedroom home on a half-acre lot for less than $350K and property taxes less than $10,000/year.

Our 3 Orthodox shuls, Congregation Sha’arei Torah, Congregation Zichron Eliezer, and Golf Manor Synagogue, are all within walking distance of each other and offer daily minyanim, classes and shiurim.

Jewish education in Cincinnati is incredibly affordable. Ohio’s EdChoice vouchers provide, regardless of income level, annual support of $5,500 per child in grades K-8, and $7,500 per child in high school. School options include Cincinnati Hebrew Day School (boys and girls early childhood-8th grade), Ohr Torah Cincinnati (boys and girls early childhood-8th grade), Atara Girls’ High School, and the new Mesivta of Cincinnati.

Cincinnati features all of the standard Jewish community amenities, an eruv, a kollel, two mikvahs, five kosher eateries, kosher groceries, and a state-of-the-art Jewish Community Center.

In addition to Cincinnati's exciting city scene, Professional opportunities include Procter & Gamble, Macy’s, American Financial Group, Kroger Company, University of Cincinnati and its excellent medical center. Cincinnati Children’s Hospital is world-renowned (ranked #2 overall among US children’s hospitals.) Our international airport is about a 25 minute drive away; driving to New York is about 10 hours and to Chicago about 4.5 hours.
