Why compromise? If you seek a vibrant out-of-town Orthodox community that pairs engaging Jewish life with a choice of orthodox shuls and neighborhoods in a temperate climate — look no further. Your family’s future starts here!
We have two orthodox schools, Pre-K - 8,(co-ed) and separate boys and girls yeshiva high schools. San Diego offers kosher dining and catering, a mikvah, and an eruv for each shul neighborhood. Our shuls offer daily minyanim and shiurim, exciting youth and teen programs, and a warm Shabbat experience.
San Diego is home to two vibrant, full-service Orthodox communities dedicated to chessed, Torah study, and communal engagement. As the city’s founding Orthodox synagogue, Beth Jacob thrives with an extensive youth program, warm hospitality, and a rich schedule of events. Its future home—a new campus in San Carlos slated to open in 2027—is currently under renovation. This lovely, relaxed suburb sits at the foot of Cowles Mountain and Lake Murray, offering scenic trails alongside ample rentals and homes for purchase. For those seeking a growing community where nature seamlessly weaves into authentic Jewish living, Beth Jacob is waiting for you.
