About This Community

Scottsdale, Arizona is home to a wonderful and rapidly growing Jewish community with abundant Jewish amenities.
It is a dream location to raise a family. The combined Phoenix-Scottsdale community boasts 9 Jewish day schools serving over 1000 children (K-12); large Eruvim; over a dozen Kosher restaurants (plus kosher groceries, bakeries, and caterers); Kollel learning; and four Mikvaot. State tax credit programs (STO) and Empowerment Scholarship Accounts (ESA) enable generous day school scholarships for all income levels.

Scottsdale is home to 4 Orthodox shuls, led by inspirational and charismatic rabbis with international reputations. Ashkenazic, Sephardic, Chabad, Yeshivish, and Modern Orthodox Jews all call Scottsdale home.

The quality of life is top-notch and convenient. Scottsdale offers magnificent sunsets, spectacular weather, and resort-style living. There is an incredible array of outdoor activities, world-class museums, theaters, professional sports teams and tournaments, concert venues, and more. Traffic is minimal to non-existent. The community is relaxed and friendly.

Scottsdale has a strong economy and a booming job market (frequently ranked first as Best Place to Find a Job and Best Place to Retire). Scottsdale is home to a gleaming JCC and a short drive from hospitals, universities, and technology companies. Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is just 25 minutes away, but with 330+ days of sunshine a year and winters averaging 72 degrees, you’ll be reluctant to leave.

Housing options in the “Valley of the Sun” vary, with new rental apartments and homes (with a pool!) starting at $800K.

Experience Scottsdale and expect the unforgettable!
